Take a Cooking Class
March 12, 2015,
I checked an item off my bucket list...take a cooking class! I took the class with my best friend, Amy Q. It was so much fun. There were 16 people in the class and 4 cooking stations. Everyone came with a partner, except two girls. I remember thinking at the time, what's wrong with these girls that they had to come by themselves; of course they joined our cooking station. Like all teams, we followed the stages of team dynamics (forming, storming, norming & performing). In the end, we were all laughing together and having a great time; I'm sure the wine helped. Finally, after 3 hours and 4 amazing dishes...I thought to myself this time, how courageous of these 2 girls to be a part of something, where they were forced to meet new people; and I felt grateful that I was part of that experience!
